Fluffy Yogurt Mango Swirl (Printable)

Creamy yogurt swirled with mango purée, frozen into refreshing summer pops.

# What You'll Need:

→ Yogurt Base

01 - 2 cups full-fat Greek yogurt
02 - 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Mango Swirl

04 - 2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed
05 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
06 - 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

# Directions:

01 - Blend mango cubes with honey and lime juice until completely smooth. Transfer to a separate container.
02 - Whisk together Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
03 - Spoon alternating layers of yogurt mixture and mango purée into popsicle molds. Use a skewer or butter knife to gently swirl the layers together, creating a marbled pattern throughout.
04 - Insert popsicle sticks into each mold and place in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours until completely solid.
05 - Run the outside of the molds briefly under warm water to loosen the pops, then gently remove from molds.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • They taste like a frozen yogurt bar you'd pay too much for, except you made them yourself in fifteen minutes.
  • The swirl is genuinely pretty, which means you can feel proud serving them to guests without any apologies.
  • They're protein-packed enough to feel like a treat but wholesome enough that you won't feel guilty eating three in a row.
02 -
  • If your pops slide right off the stick before freezing completely, your molds might be too warm or your mixture too soft—chill both before assembling.
  • The swirl only works if you use thick Greek yogurt, not regular yogurt; I learned this by making a watery mess the first time.
03 -
  • Always make sure your popsicle molds are completely clean and dry before starting, because any residual moisture will throw off the freezing time.
  • If you can't find ripe mangoes, frozen mango pulp works perfectly and often tastes fresher than out-of-season fresh fruit.
