11 - 8 slices sourdough bread
12 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
13 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for layering)
14 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for layering)
# Directions:
01 - In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
02 - Fold chopped spinach and artichoke hearts into the cheese mixture until evenly blended.
03 - Arrange sourdough slices on a flat surface. Spread the dip generously on 4 slices, then top each with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
04 - Place the remaining 4 bread slices on top to complete the sandwiches.
05 - Spread softened butter evenly on the outside faces of each sandwich.
06 - Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
